Meredith Roof Plumbing has a wide range of services and are renowned for delivering extra large projects for the reason that we have the adept man-power, our own equipment and excellent management processes that a large project requires. Metal Roofing
Metal roofing is a lightweight and attractive roof product. It is fairly easily installed as lengths can be up to 33m long, depending on the sheet profile selected. You would commonly use a 0.42 or 0.48 base metal thickness for a roof sheet. Our main roof suppliers are Lysaght, Stramit, Metroll and Steeline.
Metal Wall Cladding
Metal wall cladding is a lightweight cladding that can be installed fairly quickly, depending on lengths and requirements. It is generally applied over the top of a Vapour Barrier Wrap inclusive of a 20mm air gap as per the new National Construction Code 2022.
Metal Ceilings and Soffits
Metal ceilings and soffits are commonly a Corrugated or Mini Corry profile with a 0.42 base metal thickness. Internal ceilings made from profiled metal sheet are usually seen in sports stadiums and are commonly a perforated sheet for acoustic purposes.
Roof Plumbing
Roof plumbing incorporates stormwater drainage inclusive of eaves gutters, box gutters, valleys and downpipes. We supply & install a vast range of material, inclusive of using Colorbond sheet metal, stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium. A Hydraulic engineer will calculate the roof water catchment and specify the gutter and downpipe requirements.
Roof Lights
Roof lights are a translucent roof sheet which are generally installed intermittently on a roof or wall to bring natural light into the building. These translucent sheets can come in a range of thicknesses and materials (such as fibreglass and polycarbonate) and will match the same roof profile as the rest of the metal roof. The leading translucent sheet suppliers are Ampelite and Laserlite.
Skylights
Skylights are a glazed opening which bring natural light into the building. These can be installed on high and low pitched roofs and there are a range of options such as fixed closed or openable. Skylights can be custom made or purchased as a finished product, with options such as a double glazed window or clear polycarbonate window. We use multiple suppliers and manufacturers, depending on the specification required.
Curved Roofs
Lysaght manufacture a product called Custom Blue Orb which is suitable for curving and applied to roof and walls. Fielders also supply profiled metal sheets which are suitable for curving. The curving machine required is generally taken to site where the curving of the sheet can happen alongside installation to ensure it is manufactured correctly.
Aramax Roofing
The Aramax roof sheeting allows for huge roofing spans of up to 20 metres with no purlins or girts. This enables the designer to eliminate the cost and complexity of the buildings secondary structure. The Aramax serves as a visually stunning and structural component of the structure, reducing cost without compromising performance.
Insulated Panels
There are a number of suppliers and types of products when it comes to insulated panels. Kingspan, Bondor, Metecno and Askin are the leaders of supply in this sector and all have their specialty products and different allowances of panel lengths and thicknesses. You can also get mineral wool insulated panels which are tested to the combustibility Australian Standard AS1530.1-1994.
Cool Room Panels
Cool room and cold storage panels are usually known as a PIR panel, short for Polyisocyanurate Insulated Panel which is a thermoset plastic, closed cell, rigid insulation with great thermal efficiency. These are commonly used as a wall and ceiling panel in controlled environments across cold storage, freezer, distribution, health and infrastructure industries. We have the equipment to install these panels as required and our main supplier is Metecno.
Danpal Systems
Danpal have a range of modular lightweight polycarbonate panels that can be installed as a roofing or facade system. This concealed clip system brings natural light into the building and has large spanning capabilities. We have installed a range of different Danpal systems over the years, with the final product being very aesthetically pleasing.

A Pro Clima product, Intello Plus is a market leading intelligent air barrier for all construction types, providing superior energy and moisture control. It maximises the performance of your thermal insulation, whilst restricting internal moisture entering the building envelope. This intelligent air barrier provides optimal protection against structural damage and mould, even in the event of unexpected moisture intrusion.
